Competitors List

Every domain Google ranks next to originaluniqueart.com, with how close each one's business actually is to yours. The similarity scores compare what you sell, the market you are in, the segments you address and the buyers you write for against the same four descriptions read from the competitor's own pages — so a high score means you are fighting for the same customer, not merely for the same words. Closest business first: every domain found is also read once from its home page to tell whether it sells what you sell, so a shop in your trade rises to the top before its full comparison is done. Missing one? Add it with Add a competitor above — domains you add are compared and profiled first. What to do about them is in the competitor report.

Competitors and how close they are to you

Overall match first asks whether the competitor is the same business as you at all — same (70–100 %), partly (40–69 %) or different (below 25 %) — and then places it inside that band with the average of the four dimension columns after it (averaged over the ones already scored, so it appears as soon as two are in and says "of 4" until the comparison is complete). Two shops selling the same product no longer read "adjacent" because one of them also sells frames. It measures overlap only: a small site can match you at 90 % and a large one at 10 %. Threat is what to act on — the match multiplied by the domain's authority and by the volume it actually takes from you (volume at stake), scored against the biggest threat in this list rather than on an absolute scale. Click a domain to open everything AkOOre knows about that competitor. List shows one card per competitor in the order you pick; Table puts every column side by side and sorts on its headings. Sorted by closest business, a competitor not compared yet is placed by what its home page showed — same business, partly, different — right after the scored ones it resembles; sorted any other way, it stays at the bottom.

58 competitors have not been compared yet — each one is scored after its own pages have been read, which runs automatically, one competitor at a time, the closest-looking first. Until then the verdict is the first read of its home page.

It wins and volume at stake are read from a sample: the keyword comparison stores the top 50 shared searches per competitor, so they say "of those 50", not "of all 91 domains' searches". The sample is the same size for every row, which is what makes the counts comparable with each other — but never read one as the whole of your traffic. The content gaps are left out of both on purpose: they are capped the same way and their volume is dominated by demand unrelated to your market. They are in the competitor report, where they read as opportunities rather than as a threat.

What each column means
  • Competitor — The competing domain, as Google ranks it next to you.
  • Found by — Blank for the standard shared-keyword collection. "Google search" means the domain was found by running your best searches on Google — the way a buyer finds it — which is how a competitor with no keywords in common with you gets onto this list at all.
  • Overall match % — The average of the dimension scores — how much of this competitor's business overlaps yours. It says nothing about size or strength. Averaged over the dimensions already scored, so it can appear before all four are in (see the next column).
  • Dimensions scored — How many of the four dimensions the match is averaged over. Below four the match is provisional and can still move.
  • Verdict — The match banded: direct rival (70 % and above), adjacent (40-70 %), different business, or not compared yet.
  • Products & services — How closely the competitor's products & services matches yours, 0-100 %. Empty until the competitor's own pages have been read.
  • Market — How closely the competitor's market matches yours, 0-100 %. Empty until the competitor's own pages have been read.
  • Market segments — How closely the competitor's market segments matches yours, 0-100 %. Empty until the competitor's own pages have been read.
  • Buyer personas — How closely the competitor's buyer personas matches yours, 0-100 %. Empty until the competitor's own pages have been read.
  • Threat /100 — Who to worry about: the match multiplied by the domain's authority and by the volume it takes from you. Relative to this list — the biggest threat scores 100, 60+ is a major threat, 30+ is worth watching. Empty while any of the three is unknown.
  • Threat verdict — The threat score banded, in words.
  • Its power /1000 — The competitor domain's authority, 0 to 1000, on the same scale as yours.
  • Shared searches — How many Google searches you and this domain both rank for — the size of the ground you contest. The whole figure, not the sample the two columns after it are counted over.
  • Searches it wins — Of the sampled shared searches, the ones where it ranks ABOVE you. Sharing a search with a domain sitting far below you costs nothing; this is the count that does. Read out of the 50 shared searches stored per competitor, the same sample size for every row.
  • Volume at stake — Monthly searches behind the column before it — the demand this competitor is serving instead of you, over the same sample.
  • Sales at stake /mo — The volume at stake priced in YOUR sales: those searches × the click share of a #3 result × the share of your engaged visits that buy × your average order (Google Analytics, 12 months). Empty without 12 months of purchases.
  • Its ads seen — On how many of the captured live searches (your shortlist and your brand terms) this competitor ran an ad — 0 means it was never seen advertising.
  • Cited by the AI answers — How many of the AI answers to your site's questions quote this competitor.
  • Referring domains, 6-month change — How many referring domains this competitor gained (or lost) over the last six months — whether it is investing in links. Measured for your closest competitors only.
  • Its traffic on your searches — Estimated monthly Google visits it gets from the searches you share — its size INSIDE your market, rather than its whole domain's traffic.
  • Its average position — Where it sits on average over the shared searches — lower is better for it.

How to read the verdicts:

  • direct rival (70 % and above) sells what you sell to the buyers you want. The band comes from reading whether it is the same business at all; the four dimensions then place it inside the band. Every search you both rank for is a customer decided between the two of you.
  • adjacent (40-70 %) overlaps part of your market — usually a segment or a product line, worth reading their profile before deciding to fight.
  • different business (below 40 %) merely shares your vocabulary. Out-ranking it brings visitors who were never going to buy from you.
  • same business, not scored yet, partly the same, not scored yet — its home page was read and shows it sells what you sell (or part of it); the full comparison is on its way and will place it in a band. A competitor whose home page shows a different business says so.
  • not compared yet — nothing read yet; the domain is a competitor in Google's eyes, but its business has not been looked at.

How to read the threat:

  • major threat (60 and above) is close to your business, strong enough to hold its rankings, and already taking searches from you. Start here.
  • watch (30-60) has two of the three — close and strong but on little of your ground, or on your ground but weak.
  • minor (below 30) costs you little today, whatever its size.
  • not measured — the match, the authority or the keyword comparison is missing, so the three factors cannot be multiplied. Not the same as a low threat.

The threat is relative to this list: the biggest one scores 100 and the others are read against it, so it ranks your competitors — it is not a percentage, and two websites' scores do not compare.

Competitor list collected on Sept. 29, 2026, 8:28 p.m., business comparison last updated on Oct. 3, 2026, 9:03 a.m.. Both run automatically — the list from your keyword data, the comparison by reading each competitor's own pages.
