One measurement fault is distorting your revenue and order data
This report shows your website's sales performance and how much your traffic is worth. It helps you decide where to invest your budget and which products to promote.
Start by fixing the configuration checks in section A. Can the till be trusted? Fixing this setup error is your first step to making your data reliable for growth.
Some sections are not available yet because data is still being collected.

Section A
Can your figures be trusted?
The tracking checks first: every figure below stands on them. Then whether Google Ads counts the same sales.
Can the till be trusted?
Fix soon1 fault bends the figures.
Every automatic check of the property, worst first, judged on the last 90 days: a fault you already fixed turns green at once. A fault here bends a figure further down: fix the red ones before acting on a channel or a country.

The value of a visit by source and by country, new against returning visitors, engagement against value, mobile against desktop, then the purchase funnel.
What a visit is worth, by source
Direct: $0 per 1,000 visits.
Revenue per 1,000 engaged visits per channel, with the order rate and the average order. A paid click is worth buying below the value of the visit it brings, times your margin.
Words used

What a visit is worth, by country
No country with enough orders.
Value per 1,000 engaged visits for every country that bought. With the language of the URL, this is the market comparison that decides where to spend.
Words used
- Value per 1,000 visits
No country recorded a purchase.
Engagement against value
Too few patterns with enough visits to plot.
Each URL pattern placed by pages per visit and by value per visit. “Land and buy” patterns are the ones to push in ads; “Browse and leave” ones lose buyers on the way.
Words used
- Pages per visit
- Quadrant
Fewer than five URL patterns have 50 engaged visits or more and a sale: too few to place on a plot. The table of section D lists them.
Mobile and desktop
Too few visits per device.
Value per 1,000 visits per device, counted on all sessions and on engaged visits only: where the bots sit, the two figures part company.
Words used
- Engaged visit
| Device | Sessions | Engaged | Orders | Average order | Per 1,000 sessions | Per 1,000 engaged |

Section E · Reference
The words this report uses
8 terms explained.
- Engaged visit
- GA4's "engaged session": a visit that lasted over 10 seconds, saw two pages or more, or converted. Automated traffic almost never qualifies.
- Tare
- The sessions of one channel that is mostly automated — over half the traffic, under 3 seconds, almost never engaged. Weighed off before any ratio, like a container on a scale.
- Value per 1,000 visits
- Revenue divided by engaged visits, times 1,000. The one unit every table ends on; divide by 1,000 for what one visit is worth.
- Order rate
- Orders per 100 engaged visits.
- Key event
- An event GA4 counts as a conversion (formerly "conversion"). Google Ads imports key events to bid on.
- Unwanted referral
- A site GA4 must not credit as the source of a visit — your payment provider, for one. Without it, the return from payment starts a new visit and the order loses its source.
- Item scope
- Figures about the products in an order (item revenue, units) rather than about the visit. GA4 never mixes the two in one request.
- Thin row
- A row built on fewer than 5 orders: shown in grey, never used to set a scale or name a "best".
